PAT to support PTI's Faisalabad "Shutdown" call

LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) has announced on Sunday that the party supports the strike call of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Faisalabad, ARY News reports.

PTI Punjab chapter President Ijaz Chaudhry said that the party contacted PAT on the instruction of PTI Chairman Imran Khan and invited the Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri’s party to attend the protests and demonstration in Faisalabad on Monday (tomorrow).

PAT leader Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that the objectives of both parties are the same and they will rid the nation from the prevailing system.

Pakistan Awami Tehreek has also invited Sunni Tehreek to attend PTI’s protest tomorrow.

It should be noted that PTI Chairman Imran Khan had announced Plan C in which he announced dates for shutdowns of different cities.
