PCB chief hints at ‘major changes’ in coaching staff after World T20

The PCB head, however, said team is playing like a big tournament, it’s not under-pressure, he told a press conference here.

If we win either of the matches against Australia or New Zealand, we will have a chance to proceed to the semi-finals, said Khan.

Regarding Shahid Afridi and his captaincy, Khan said he had an agreement with Afridi that he would retire after the World Cup. “Even he had clearly said he would step down as skipper after the WC.”

He also underlined that the team management would look if Afridi could be retained as a player in the team if he wants to continue his cricket after World T20.

He hailed Imran Khan’s gesture to provide tips to team Pakistan before the match. “It was good for the team,” he added.

‘In logon koo khudha kaa khauf atta hai’ answer is no with capital N. Once asked why don’t you retire answer was bad performance is because of everybody’s fault hence why would he retire? What a pathetic answer, you are the chairman who failed to elect right officials & selectors hence team performed badly hence you are the first one to go. They are looting cricket like a termite eating wood having no shame & pride on the team that they have selected. There are no heroes in the team but zeros. They are bad in batting first and worse in chasing runs and it is a no win situation. What do you do in such situation, common sense play gamble. New Zealanders are always bad against spinners specially on slow wickets hence play with 2 quickies, one full time spinner better if he is left handed plus Afridi & Shoaib as helping spinners if needed. In case win toss, put New Zealander batting first and make them out less than 150 runs. So far I know, Pakistani batsmen are good against spinners and New Zealanders are bound to select two spinners making chances better for Pakistan to win this game.
