An Indian news agency, citing sources, stated that the board is in talks with Vivian Richards to name him Pakistan’s mentors for the upcoming two tournaments but has not agreed to anything.

However, the source added that Richards has media commitments which may be a hurdle in his appointment as mentor for Pakistan.

It should be noted that Vivian Richards is currently mentoring Quetta Gladiators in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL).

It is also being said that the cricketing board is also in talks with former all-rounder Azhar Mahmood for appointing him as the team’s bowling coach for Asia Cup and 2016 World T20.
