PCB offers chief selector contract to Inzamam

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is in talks with former captain Inzamam-ul-Haq for appointing him as the national team’s chief selector, ARY News reported.

According to details, the former captain has not yet accepted PCB’s offer and asked for more time to think about it.

He remained attached with Pakistan cricket for 15 years. He was a part of Pakistan’s 1992 Cricket World Cup team which won the ICC Cricket World Cup in Australia.

He retired from international cricket back in 2007.

He had served as the acting batting coach of Pakistan cricket team in 2012. He is currently serving as the coach of the Afghanistan cricket team.
