PCB eyes govt’s nod to play World T20 in India

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will seeka non-objection certificate (NOC) from the federal government for taking part in the World Twenty20 2016, ARY News reported.

World T20 2016 will be contested in India next month for which the PCB will seek a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Interior or Foreign ministries for participating in the tournament.

Sources said that the cricket board will try to convince the federal government to grant them permission to play in the mega event.

Sources also said that the federal government has not set the condition of requiring NOC for taking part in Asia Cup which will be played in Bangladesh.
