Pemra asked to shut down BOL’s transmission

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Electronic Media and Regulatory Authority (Pemra) has been asked to shut down transmission of Bol Television after fake degree scam of its parent company Axact unearthed, ARY News reported.

According to sources, the Federal Ministry of Information and Technology wrote a letter to Pemra in this regard.

The letter was written by Secretary Information.

The letter states that a channel’s parent company was found involved in fraudulent activities, hence the transmission of the channel could not be allowed to go on air.
