People have rejected ‘dirty politics’, says PM

Addressing a gathering after ground-breaking of Shorkot-Khanewal Section of the motorway M-4, prime minister said that the people have rejected ‘dirty politics’ in recent Azad Kashmir elections.

Indicating towards the PTI’s protest campaign against the government Nawaz Sharif said that politicking on containers is not serious politics. He said the people have discarded ‘dirty politics’.

Speaking in cricket jargon the prime minister said, ” the politics is not a one-day or Test match.”

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also announced to end the electricity load-shedding before year 2018.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid, Punjab Governor Rafique Rajwana and Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Sun Weidong were also present on the occasion.

The project will be completed at a cost of around 22 billion rupees in two years to improve the country’s vital north-south road network and ensure better regional connectivity.

Motorway M-4 Faisalabad-Multan is divided into four sections. Faisalabad-Gojra and Khanewal-Multan sections have already been completed, while work is underway on Gojra-Shorkot section.

The prime minister today started the work on the Shorkot-Khanewal section of the motorway.
