People of Pakistan have rejected Jamaat-e-Islami: Izhar

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Khwaja Izhar-ul- Hassan said on Sunday that people of Pakistan have rejected Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) due to the party’s undemocratic behavior, ARY News reported.

Talking exclusively to ARY News, MQM leader said that everybody knows that JI leaders have relations with Al-Qaeda and Taliban elements.

Earlier, JI chief while addressing a rally organised to denounce publication of blasphemous caricatures in French Magazine Charlie Hebdo, remarked they had staged a protest march on French embassy and not on Nine-Zero (MQM headquarters in Karachi) which shall enrage MQM.

It must be noted that not only MQM leaders but MQM chief accused JI of having links with terrorists while party chief Altaf Hussain recently demanded a ban on the politico-religious party for the sake of peace in the country.
