People supported PML-N in Islamabad LG polls, says Rasheed

ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Pervez Rasheed has said that the people supported Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) in the local government elections in Islamabad, ARY News reports.

Pervez Rasheed, in a statement, said that PML-N will try to appoint a mayor in Islamabad who is liked by the people.

“Those who staged a sit-in in Islamabad lost LG polls even from Bani Gala”, he added.

He added that the world lauded the interaction between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the United Nations conference on climate change.

“Pakistan has tried to maintain good ties with its neighboring countries”, he added.
