People will be oppressed until they don’t stand up: Imran

JHANG: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan has said that tyrants will be oppressing the common people, as long as they do not stand up for their rights, ARY News reported.

Addressing the flood-affectees here on Monday, Imran Khan said that until a common man will not raise voice for his rights, the mighty will be exploiting him. He alleged that the Athara Hazari protective dyke was not blown in order to save Sharif brothers’ sugar mills, due to which the people of the Jhang had to suffer from great damages.

The PTI chief said that the Sharif brothers plunder the national wealth, whenever they come into power.

He said if the protective dykes were repaired, then so many people would not have been affected by floods.

Imran Khan said that a true fight for the rights of the people is continued in Islamabad, adding that we have not forgotten the flood-victims and will go up to any extent for their rehabilitation.
