“Only those nations progress who fight against the cruelty and injustice. Iceland prime minister’s wife was named in the Panama Papers and all the opposition asked questions from him. Alive nations never bow before the oppressor,” said Imran Khan while addressing a large gathering in Chichawatni during campaign for by-election on seat of NA-162.

He said he was sure that people will make PTI win the election going to be held on 24th.

“Make our candidate win on 19th and our next stop will be Raiwind,” he said.

The PTI chief said when the Iceland people did not get answers from their PM, they threw him out of the office. Here in Pakistan, Pakistan Muslim League-N (PMLN) people instead of asking questions from the leadership, started defending them.

He said Sharif brothers, rather than answering, got hold of all the accountability institutions of Pakistan.

Imran said Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), which collects 44% tax on a Rs100 phone card, instead of catching Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif kept quiet.

He said FBR, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) both kept mum and FIA which reacted to a newspaper’s news also didn’t take any action on Panamagate.

“Parliament which represents people also did nothing over Panama Papers,” said Imran Khan.

He asked Speaker National Assembly that what price had he been paid for his conscience. He said Nawaz Sharif was exposed in Panama Papers while reference was filed against him.

Citing Turkish democracy and people’s overturning coup attempt, he said democracy was always protected by people only if they got benefit from that democracy.

“We are going towards an enslaved state by heavy debts that Nawaz Sharif is taking for personal benefits.

“This is the time to stand up for your country, I am not talking about the election but the stand for the country,” he said.

He said if a PM loots the country, he can only do so by ruining and corrupting the national institutions.

“Once, PTI is in power, we’ll spend maximum money on health & clean water and will hold our PM answerable to people,” he said.
