Peshawar Attack FIR registered

PESHAWAR: The FIR of the terrorist attack on Army Public School Peshawar has been registered at the counter terrorism department, citing sources ARY News reported on Thursday.

According to sources, the FIR of the incident on the complaint of Machani Police Station SHO, has been registered under terrorism law and sections regarding murder, attempt to murder and attack on the government officials.

According to preliminary investigations, the attackers travelled in a car, which was stolen from Islamabad and later set on fire before the attack on the school.

The investigation teams have found the engine and chassis number of the car.

According to the information gathered by the counter-terrorism department the plot of the terrorist attack was made in the first week of December in border area of Afghanistan. The attack was planned by 16 members of various outlawed groups including Moulvi Fazlullah, Shakeel Khalid Haqqani, Mangal Bagh, Orangzeb, Moulvi Faqeer and others.

The school attackers have been named as Abuzar, Umar, Imran, Yousuf, Uzair, Qari and Chamane, who were killed in the security forces operation.
