Lions after winning the toss opted to bat first, their openers playing with the low run-rate failed to set the momentum. Kamran Akmal in particular, who scored 4 off 11.

After 10 overs, Lions had only got to 55. But managed to got past the 130-run mark mainly because of a half-century from No. 3 Imam-ul-Haq. He ended not out on 52 off 41, with six fours, but a lack of support from the other end meant Lions could only manage a below-par 133 for 9.

Later on, Iftikhar Ahmed top scored with 50 not out fully utilizing the explosive start brought team home with four balls to spare.

Panthers finish the tournament unbeaten.
