According to details, the petition was filed by Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s candidate for NA-122 Lahore by-election Ishtiaq Chaudhry in which it was stated that Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) used government machinery to make Ayaz Sadiq win.
It was also claimed in the petition that “technical rigging” took place as the voters list was changed.
“Polling agents in several stations reached late due to which the voting process could not start on time and the people went back to their homes without casting their votes”.
He pleaded to the tribunal to disqualify Sadiq and declare the results of the recently held by-election in NA-122 as void.
