According to sources, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has proposed to reduce petrol rates by Rs 9.66 and high octane blending component by Rs 10.
In a summary sent to the Petroleum Ministry, decrease of Rs 7.12 in high speed diesel is proposed while by Rs 5 reduction in light diesel.
Similarly, reduction of Rs 4.1 is also expected in the rates of kerosene oil.
Currently the petroleum price stood as follows, High Octane Bleeding Component (HOBC) at 113.12, Petrol at 94.19, High Speed Diesel (HSD) at 101.21, Light Speed Diesel (LDO) at 83.37 and Kerosine Oil at 87.52.
