According to documents obtained by ARY News cell phones worth millions were recovered from a PIA employee.

PIA Flight steward Faisal Akram was caught smuggling cellphones fueling  rumours that some PIA officials are patronizing the criminal act as he managed to pass all check posts with the smuggled phones in his bag and came out of the airport.

The guy was only intruded by security officers of the airline who demanded Akram to be checked again.

The checking revealed that Akram, the flight steward of flight PK-758, was allowed to carry a number of 13 smart phones.

PK-758 returned from London to Lahore.

Surprisingly, the steward was neither arrested nor the smuggled phones were given to custom officials.

Custom intelligence has issued a show cause notice to PIA over the incident.
