PIA employees take out rally, raise slogans against Ishaq Dar

KARACHI: The anti-privatization protest of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) employees has entered fourth day with protesting taking out a rally outside Jinnah International Airport Karachi, ARY News reported.

Protesting under the banner of Joint Action Committee (JAC), the employees said they wont let government sell national assets.

The airport administration summoned the Rangers and police to control the situation at airport from further deterioration. The entry points of airport were also sealed shortly after the rally moved towards the airport signal.

The JAC took out a rally outside Karachi airport and staged a sit-in. Protesters raised slogan against Finance Minister Ishaq Dar who has been quiet vocal for privatizing the PIA.

They said flight operations would completely be suspended by February 3 if the government didn’t withdraw its order.
