Panama Leaks: Pir Ejaz Shah makes entry before NA session

ISLAMABAD: Former president Asif Ali Zardari’s spiritual adviser Pir Ejaz Shah has made entry on the seen at the eleventh hour before the crucial National Assembly session began and whispered something into Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan’s ear, ARY News reported.

Pir Shah has reached the parliament house. The footage grabbed by ARY News showed that Pir Ejaz Shah caught the briskly walking PTI chief from head and drew him closer to say something to which Imran responded with broad smile.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will address the assembly today to clarify allegations levelled against him by Panama Papers leaks of having links with offshore companies.

Shah is a well-known figure among political circles who has spent most of his time in the President House during the last Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) government.

Rumors said PPP had requested Pir Ijaz to witness the Monday’s proceedings in the NA.
