Plan afoot to take Kasur child abuse victims to Children’s Literature Festival
The CLF organizers said they would take around 25 to 30 child abuse victims to the literature festival being held at Lok Virsa Islamabad on October 2 and 3.
One of the organizers in her Facebook post writes, “Unlike the survivors and families of the martyrs of APS Peshawar who made a very public appearance at the CLF Karachi earlier this year, the identities of the Kasur children will not be revealed under any circumstances and they will be protected. We do not want anyone to target them or stare at them or ask them any questions which might make them feel uncomfortable.”
She also appealed for donations to help them with the funds for the transport and accommodation of these children.
The shocking revelations came to light in early August when more than 400 videos featuring 280 children being forced to have sex were discovered in Kasur.
