PM announces Rs10m for Amjad Sabri’s family

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Shareef has announced Rs10 million as financial support to the family of late Sufi musician Amjad Sabri, ARY News reported.

“Federal government will also bear the educational expenses of the children of assassinated legend of Pakistan,” the PM House office said.

The PM said the loss of Amjad Sabri at the hands of coward terrorists was loss of whole Pakistan.

“He was a true Aaashiq e Rasool (SAWW). His contributions through promotion of love and tolerance all around the world are unmatched and unparalleled in present time. People of Pakistan loved him and will remember him as a good will ambassador of Pakistan around the world,” he said.

Amjad Sabri’s brother appeals Raheel Sharif to arrest killers

Special Security Unit of Sindh has released a CCTV video clip showing two suspected assailants following Sabri’s vehicle on bike near Liaquatabad.

One of the suspects, who police say are most probably the assailants, was wearing shalwar qameez while the one driving bike was wearing pant and shirt.
