PM chairs high level consultation meeting

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is chairing a high level consultation meeting with members of the federal cabinet at Prime Minister House in Islamabad on Friday, ARY News reports.

Federal Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Information Minister Pervez Rasheed, Federal Minister for Frontier Regions Abdul Qadir Baloch, Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal are present in the meeting.

The prime minister and his cabinet are discussing the overall political and economic conditions of the country. They are also discussing strategies on how to end the sit-in of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) in Islamabad.

A decision to convince PAT to stage rallies instead of sit-in is likely to be taken by the premier and his cabinet.
