PM convinced of winning war against terrorism

He was addressing the Passing Out parade of first Special Combat Unit of Balochistan in Quetta on Thursday.

He expressed the confidence that the nation will win this war as it is a matter of survival of Pakistan’s future generations and economic stability.

The Prime Minister said Federal and provincial governments and all the national institutions are working together under the National Action Plan to rid the country of this menace.

The force has also been trained for special intelligence operations and investigation on modern and scientific grounds as part of government efforts to ensure peace and security. The PM appreciated Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif for taking special interest in completion of training programme of the force in a short time.

He advised the passing out cadets to perform their professional duties with discipline, responsibility and impartiality to provide a sense of security to the masses.

Earlier, the Prime Minister gave away prizes to the outstanding officers of the counter terrorism force. On the occasion, the personnel of force also demonstrated their skills to fight the terrorists.

Among others the passing out ceremony was attended by Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai, Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch and Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif.
