Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday visited the Karachi stock market, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah also accompanied him on the occasion.
The premier while appreciating the performance of the Karachi stock market said that in June, 2013 the market was at 19000 points, while it has now exceeded 34000 points, which is actually an upside.
He further said that his government will soon overcome the energy crisis and large-scale measures are being taken in this regard, however the issue requires some time.
PM Sharif also praised the efforts of the administration of Karachi stock market.
The chairman of the Karachi stock market, Muneer Kamal, CEO Nadeem Naqvi and senior stock market brokers were also present on this occasion.
