PM leaves for US to attend UNGA session

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday left for United States to attend the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) session, ARY News reported.

Prime Minister Sharif will represent Pakistan in the 59th annual session of the UNGA. He will address General Assembly on September 26th.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister will also hold meetings with the world leaders on the sidelines of the UN session.

The General Assembly session will be attended by the leaders of 120 countries.

The situation in Iraq and Syria, deadlock in dialogue over Iran’s nuclear programme, ebola virus epidemic in Africa and the impact of weather changes over the world and other global issues will be discussed during the UN General Assembly session.
