PM Nawaz arrives in Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif arrived in Riyadh Thursday on a two-day private visit to Saudi Arabia to inquire after the health of King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz.

The Prime Minister was received by Governor Riyadh Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz at the Royal Terminal of Riyadh, said the statement from the PM House statement.

The PM will meet Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who is also First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of Saudi Arabia as well as Deputy Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

He will also perform Umrah during his visit.

In his pre-departure statement in Islamabad, he expressed concern over the health of the ailing King and prayed for his early recovery.
