PM Nawaz assures Saudi Arabia of full support

RIYADH: Pakistani Premier Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif has said that the country is cooperating with its friendly nations to curb terrorism in the region, ARY News reports.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, in an interview to Saudi newspapers, said that the military offensive in North Waziristan is successfully going on and 90 percent of terrorist hideouts in the tribal belt have been destroyed.

According to Saudi media, PM Sharif has said that Pakistan will not allow anything happen to Saudi Arabia. He added that his country will give a strong reply to any aggression against the Arab country.

The Pakistani prime minister, commenting on the talks with India, stated that the neighbouring country itself had suspended the dialogue process.

“Pakistan wants good bilateral relations with India but our efforts are not being responded positively”, Sharif said.

He added that Pakistan wants to hold dialogue with India over all disputes including Kashmir.
