According to details, during the luncheon meeting of the political leaders in Islamabad hosted by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that his party after consultations, has agreed to endorse the nomination of Senator Raza Rabbani for the top slot of the upper house made by the opposition parties.
However, PM Nawaz lamented that Asif Ali Zardari didn’t invite him in the consultative meeting of the political parties last night to nominate a consensus candidate.
“It might have been better that Asif Ali Zardari also invited PML-N to participate in the meeting”, he said.
