PM Nawaz, FO condemn Jalalabad bombing

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Saturday strongly condemned the bombing in Afghan city, Jalalabad and described shedding the blood of innocent people as intolerable, ARY News has learnt.

In a statement, PM Nawaz said such cowardly acts could not weaken our resolve against terrorism.

The Prime Minister said Pakistan will extend every possible cooperation to Afghanistan to eliminate the menace of terrorism.

“Pakistan and Afghanistan are making concerted efforts to fight the menace of terrorism, which is common enemy of both the countries”, he added.

Meanwhile, Foreign Office (FO) of Pakistan has also strongly denounced the explosions in Jalalabad.

In a statement, FO Spokesperson Tasnim Aslam said there was no justification to target the innocent people in blasts.

She said Pakistan itself is the victim of terrorism and it shares the grief and pain of their Afghan brethren.
