PM Nawaz holds meeting with opposition parties

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is meeting leaders of opposition parties in Islamabad on Monday, ARY News reports.

PM Nawaz Sharif is meeting Syed Khursheed Shah from Pakistan People’s Party, Mahmood Khan Achakzai of Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) and Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam – Fazl (JUI-F),

Dr. Farooq Sattar and Babar Ghauri of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Ijaz-ul-Haq of Pakistan Muslim League – Zia (PML-Z) along with Aftab Ahmed Sherpao of Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) are also attending the meeting.

Senator Rehman Malik will pass the message of former President Asif Ali Zardari to the premier.

Moreover, the government has instructed the relevant authorities to settle the objections of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT)  on the FIR of the Model Town Incident.

It should be noted that the joint session of the Parliament is scheduled to take place on Tuesday morning (tomorrow).
