He was chairing a meeting of the Sindh chapter of PML-N leaders in Islamabad.

Mr. Sharif said he was disappointed by the statements of former president Asif Ali Zardari.

He rejected notions that any party was being singled out by the government for actions.

He said the government has made all decisions of national importance with consensus, which are yielding positive results.

Nawaz Sharif said we will move forward following the democratic principles and also promote positive political culture at national level.

He said the party leaders should increase contacts with people to inform them about the achievements secured during the last two and a half years.

The Prime Minister asked leaders of PML N to select loyal party workers as candidates for the forthcoming local government elections.

The meeting discussed strategy on the local bodies polls and the political situation in Sindh.

Among others, the meeting was attended by Federal Ministers Pervaiz Rashid, Ahsan Iqbal, the Prime Minister’s advisers Jam Mashooq Ali, Asif Kirmani, and the party leaders Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Marvi Memon and Nehal Hashmi.
