PM Nawaz to visit Kazakhstan from tomorrow

Prime Minister will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, foreign ministry in Islamabad said in a statement.

Pakistan was among the first few countries that recognized and established diplomatic relations with Kazakhstan after its independence in December 1991.

Pakistan accords great importance to relations with Central Asian Republics, the statement further said.

A number of Agreements and MoUs are expected to be signed during the visit.

The two countries share common views on major regional and international issues and cooperate closely at multilateral forums including the UN, SCO, ECO and OIC.

During the visit to Astana, the Prime Minister will hold meetings with President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Prime Minister Karim Massimov.
The leaders will discuss bilateral relations and exchange views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
