Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has been in London since May 22. This has been his second visit to London in less than two months for medical reasons at a time when the controversy over Panama Papers is still continuing back at home in Pakistan.
According to highly informed sources, although the main purpose of Nawaz Sharif’s visit to London could be medical, there have been rumours rather possibilities that a meeting between the prime minister and the Pakistan Peoples Party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari could be in the offing.
What is important to mention here that the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman was also in a media spotlight for reportedly facilitating a key role in arranging a meeting between the two so that they could find a possible solution to the ongoing Panama Papers scandal.
There were also reports that Asif Ali Zardari has already met Maulana Fazlur Rehman in London which the later has categorically denied.
