PM orders immediate resolution of petrol crisis

LAHORE: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has assured to resolve the prevailing petrol crisis in the country within two days, ARY News reported.

He stated this while talking to Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif who called on him at Jati Umra.

During the meeting, Prime Minister said whoever found responsible for the crisis including any minister would face action.

He assured that the crisis will be resolved in two days.

Shahbaz Sharif, speaking on the occasion, said it needs to inquired that why the crisis only occurred in Punjab.

Exchanging views on the political situation, the premier and CM Shahbaz agreed to resolve differences with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister also telephoned Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and summoned the joint meeting of Ministry of Petroleum tomorrow [Monday].

He directed Dar to take measures to immediately resolve the petrol crisis.
