ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif says Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) will once again come to power in the 2018 elections for its ‘landmark development initiatives’ taken during the current tenure, ARY News reported.

Addressing a public meeting in Kohat, Pakistan is going to become a developed country. “If development progress continues this way, the politics of our detractors will come to an end very soon.”

Amid mounting political tension in Islamabad in the wake of PTI protest, the prime minister made no mention of the capital’s situation and refrained from making any comment.

He announced state-of-the-art hospital for Kohat and vowed that people of the district won’t have to arrive Islamabad or Karachi for treatment after construction of hospital.

Mr. Sharif said people were well aware of ‘level of change’ actually taking place in Khyber Pakhtonkhwa.

He asked why anyone of the other rulers didn’t step up to provide gas in Kohat. He also announced Rs 100 million for Tehsil council Kohat.

The PM said development projects including China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) were speedily taking place in Pakistan, which will prove to be historic for country’s progress.

He once again insisted that electricity load-shedding will end in 2018.
