The Prime Minister said this while giving approval in increase in the annual stipend to Benazir Income Support Programme beneficiaries.
He said the annual stipend had been enhanced from 12,000 to 18,000 rupees during the last two years, which were now further increased to 18,800 rupees.
Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, in a statement in Islamabad said the increase is in accordance with the increase in CPI during the last year.
