PM Sharif leaves for APEC summit in Beijing

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif left for China to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Beijing, ARY News reported on Friday.

According to foreign office the prime minister will attend three-day APEC summit opening in Beijing from November 10th.

Prime Minister Sharif is visiting China on the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping to attend APEC Informal Leaders’ meeting in Beijing.

Pakistan and China are likely to sign investment agreements for a number of energy projects during the stay of Sharif in China.

An annual APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting is attended by the heads of government of all APEC members. The location of the meeting rotates annually among members, and this time it is going to be held in Beijing.
