PM Sharif to raise issue of Indian involvement in Pakistan at UN

ISLAMABAD: The draft of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s speech in the upcoming United Nations (UN) General Assembly session has been finalized, ARY News reports citing sources.

According to sources, Pakistan has prepared dossiers containing evidences of Indian activities in the tribal areas, Balochistan and Karachi.

However it is undecided that which member states the dossiers will be presented and on which level, sources said.

It is being said that the tensions at the Line of Control will be a part of PM Nawaz Sharif’s speech in the UN General Assembly and the Prime Minister will suggest ways on how the tensions can be lowered.

Sources have also stated that Pakistan will also oppose the increase in the number of permanent UN Security Council seats.

PM Sharif is also expected to highlight Pakistan’s success in the ongoing Operation Zarb-e-Azb in the tribal areas and the war against terrorism.
