PM Sharif vows to foil nefarious enemy plans

The top civil-military leadership today held a security meeting at the Headquarters of Inter Services Intelligence (ISI).

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting reviewed internal and external security situation of the country.

Officials briefed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Army Chief Gen Raheel Sharif and others at the meeting about foreign covert agencies playing their part to cause instability here.

The army chief while stressing on permanent measures to achieve durable peace said that terrorists are being funded from outside and facilitated from within the country.

On the occasion, PM Sharif lauded the role of armed forces in ensuring security across the country and vowed to frustrate wicked efforts by the enemy aimed at destabilizing Pakistan.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, National Security Adviser (NSA) Nasir Khan Janjua and other high-ups were also present at the key meeting.
