PM Sharif winds up US visit

The prime minister at the end of his four-day visit addressed a ceremony at the United States (US) Institute of Peace. He said that Pakistan wants complete peace at the Working Boundary and the Line of Control (LoC).

He apprised the attendees of mounting tensions in the region due to anti-Pakistan measures by Indian extremists.

During his meeting with President Barack Obama, the Pakistan premier noted that the operation Zarb-e-Azb is the world’s largest military campaign against terrorism.

Adviser to PM on National Security and Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz termed the US tour successful saying that the opponents waged negative propaganda pertaining to the visit.

He reiterated PM’s stance that Pakistan’s nuclear program is in safe hands and that the world admitted effectiveness of our Command and Control System.
