PM summons key meeting to discuss anti-terror plan

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has summoned a key security meeting on Tuesday to ponder upon national anti-terror plan, ARY News reported.

According to details, the meeting will be attended by the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif, Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Pakistan’s spy chief, Lieutenant General Rizwan Akhter and other high-ups.

Sources told that the civil-military leadership will hold discussion relating to the implementation of the national anti-terror plan.

It was further reported that officials will brief the participants of the meeting about security affairs of the country.

Earlier to this, Punjab CM, Shahbaz Sharif also called on the prime minister and discussed with him the anti-terror strategy and its implementation in Punjab.
