PM summons NSC meeting to discuss Indian aggression at LoC

ISLAMABAD: In the view of recent clashes along the Line of Control (LoC), government of Pakistan has summoned a meeting of National Security Council (NSC) on Friday, ARY News reported.

According to sources, the meeting will be held at 10:00 AM to review the issues being faced at the eastern and western borders of the country. The meeting will discuss matters pertaining to the Indian aggression at Working Boundaries and Line of Control and to design a strategy.

The meeting will be chaired by Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif.

It will be attended by Chairman Joint Staff General Rashad Mahmood, Federal Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Federal Minister for Broadcasting and Information Pervez Rasheed, Advisor to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz and other senior officials.

India’s LoC violation

The Indian aggression along the LOC remained continue killing at least ten civilians of Pakistan while 34 others injured.

Today, Indian troops violating LoC ceasefire opened indiscriminate fire and pounded working boundaries in Sialkot sector as a result of which ten were killed and 34 got injured.

Pakistan has expressed its concern over the India’s consistent LOC ceasefire violation.
