PM to visit Karachi tomorrow

KARACHI: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will arrive in Karachi on Thursday to mourn the killing of MQM worker, that prompted the party to shut down the city today, ARY News reported.

The Prime Minister will also hold a key meeting on law and order of Karachi.

The MQM activist Sohail Ahmed was abducted in December and his body was found within the remits of city’s Mochko Police Station. The slain worker was said to be associated with MQM for 25 years.

Yesterday, PM Sharif had taken notice of killing of Ahmed. He had given directions for investigation of the incident and submission of a report.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan also sought report from DG Rangers Sindh and Inspector General Police Sindh about the incident.
