PM announces compensation for flood victims

SUKKUR: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday granted Rs 1 billion relief fund to the Sindh government for flood victims and vowed that the government will provide all possible assistance to the affectees in this testing time, ARY News reported.

According to details, PM Sharif today reached Sukkur to inquire about the worries of flood affectees, where he was welcomed by the CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah.

There from, the prime minister reached Ghotki and met the flood victims.

Addressing on the occasion, PM Nawaz Sharif said assured the affected masses of all possible assistance by the government.

He granted Rs 1 billion to the Sindh government for flood relief.

Earlier to this, the PM had an aerial view of areas affected due to flood through a chopper.
