NAWABSHAH: Staff nurses of the Peoples Medical College (PMC) staged a protest here on Friday against the low quality of injections in the hospital, ARY News reports.
The nurses boycotted from their ward duties and strongly protested against the supply of bad quality injections in the college. They also chanted slogans against PMC.
Nurses said that the medical condition of the patients worsen instead of improving whereas the medical superintendent of the hospital throw them out of the office with contempt when he was informed.
President of the Staff Nurses Association Mrs. Ayesha Zafar claimed that the injections are given upon the instruction of the doctors however they have to face the music if any unforeseen event takes place. They added that the Medical Superintendent was informed about the injections but their word was not taken seriously.
"The condition of a patient deteriorated today due to the bad quality of syringe that's why the nurses are protesting", she added.
