PML-N, PTI flex muscles in Lodhran ahead of Dec 23 by-polls

LODHRAN: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on Monday flexed muscles in Lodhran ahead of NA-154 by-election on December 23, ARY News reported.

Addressing a rally, PTI Chairman Imran Khan vowed to put ‘Mian brothers behind the bars after coming into power’.

Reminding the masses present status quo in country, the skipper urged them to vote for PTI candidate Jehangir Tareen in the by-election scheduled on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the ruling PML-N also held a rally to garner support for its candidate which was addressed by MNA Hamza Shahbaz.

During the public meeting, Shahbaz subjected Imran Khan to criticism more than appealing the local populace to vote his party’s nominee to the National Assembly.

He appealed the people to vote for those who thought for the development of the country, not the ones who lied before the nation standing atop a container.
