PML-N's lawmaker celebrates Holi amid Senate polls

ISLAMABAD: A minority member of the National Assembly, Dr Ramesh Kumar celebrated Holi alongside casting his vote for the Senate elections on Thursday, ARY News reported.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) minority MNA from Tharparker, Dr Ramesh Kumar arrived at the National Assembly with sweetmeats and Holi colors.

Amid heated speeches outside the Parliament House, Kumar surprised everyone by playing Holi instead of delivering his speech.

Talking to media, he said that the festival of Holi marks the day of victory against oppression.

The minority MNA said that the Senate elections and the Holi festival are equally important for him.

On this occasion, Dr Ramesh Kumar dusted the media men with Holi colors and presented sweetmeats to them.
