PML-N trampling masses with privatization: Imran Khan

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has blasted the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for proposed privatization of the Pakistan International Airline, saying the PM is bulldozing voice of the masses, ARY News reported.

“Nawaz Sharif is a product of dictatorship, he doesn’t have any idea about democracy,” lamented Imran while speaking to media in Peshawar.

Khan said he would lead the protest himself on February 6. However, it’s yet to be decided whether protest would begin from Karachi or Islamabad, he added.

He said the PML-N government had imposed 98% tax on diesel, comparing it with the PPP saying that the latter had imposed 22% tax on diesel.

He underlined that masses never faced such oppression during Musharraf’s tenure as they were facing now.

Regarding doctors protest in Peshawar, the PTI chief said his government wanted to bring government hospitals standard in KP at par private hospitals.

He added: “We continued our dialogue with the doctors to improve management.”
