Police arrest four members of outlawed group in Karachi

Police conducted a raid at M.A. Jinnah Road and arrested four accused along with arms and explosives after a shootout, police officials said. The arrested four men, identified as Zain Ansari, Hassan, Hasnain and Razaullah, have been affiliated with banned outfit al-Qaida in Subcontinent, police said.

Moreover, on a tipoff police conducted raids in Shah Faisal Colony number 3 and 5 arresting seven suspects with sophisticated weapons. Police, in another raid in Hyderi two accused were arrested.

Liaquatabad Furniture Market raid

Paramilitary Rangers conducted a raid in Liaquatabad Furniture Market and recovered large quantity of weapons found hidden in sofa sets.

According to Rangers the raid was conducted on the pointation of the members of the militant wing of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).

Arms also captured in a raid in Shah Faisal Colony, officials said.
