Police arrest three 'target killers' from Nazimabad

KARACHI: Police on Saturday arrested three ‘target killers’ from Nazimabad area of Karachi who have confessed killing 12 people along with making some shocking revelations, ARY News reported.

Police said that they arrested the hitmen while patrolling at night and that the suspects have confessed killing 12 people in initial interrogation.

The suspect Faisal alias Don told confessed killing PPP activist Shahid Arain near Saifee College and shooting dead two cops in 2014 at Five Star Chowrangi.

He also admitted firing at the residence of a local trader in North Nazimabad and extorting Rs 1 million from him.

Faizan’s accomplice Muhammad Ali confessed killing seven people in different areas of the city including a taxi driver in Federal B Area and a rickshaw driver in Yasinabad.

Another arrested hitman Irfan admitted recceing in the murder of Ali Akbar Kumaili, son of Allama Abbas Kumaili.

Meanwhile, a Lyari gang war affiliate died of injuries he received during gunfight with law enforcers.

On the other hand, police arrested two suspects involved in looting cattle traders.

The suspects used to kidnap vehicles bringing in cattle and received ransom against their release.
