Police arrest three terror suspects

LAHORE: Police and intelligence agencies in a joint operation arrested three members of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), ARY News reported on Thursday.

A spokesman of Punjab Police here said that the terrorists were arrested with the help of CCTV footage and assistance from the intelligence agencies.

Arrested terror suspects have confessed their affiliation with TTP Al-Farooq Group, police spokesman said.

A computer and guides to prepare explosives for terror attacks and suicide jackets were recovered from the possession of the arrested men, police said.

Police reached to another group of terrorists affiliated with Punjabi Taliban’s Ustad Aslam Group, on the pointation of the arrested terror suspects, spokesman said.

Two hand grenades, a pistol and bullets recovered from the terrorists.
